There is a bar at the event, the taking from which help subsidise the room hire. For which reason we cant allow players to bring their own refreshments. Ejectedbrass aim to keep ticket prices low, all the takings either go to room hire, or the purchase of equipment for the lans.

Videogame Nation
For anyone interested in Games there is a really interesting exhibition currently running at Urbis, titled Video Game Nation. Bruce and I went to see it and it and found it really interesting. Charting the rise of the videogames from the 80s to present day and includes loads of games to play and interesting trivia and statistics. It costs £3 to enter but there are a series of talks from some big names in the gaming industry. We saw Jon Hare of Sensible soccar and Cannon Fodder fame, we are also going back to see David Brabham of Elite fame.

Next Lan Janurary 24th
Rumours of our death have been greatly exagerated as the next lan is finally annouced. Usual place see link Arrive at 14.00- 15.00 we will start will Quake and finish around 23.00 after Unreal games in the middle TBA, please ask for games in forum!

New Server
Cannon Fodder (Phil) has kindly donated his old PC to replace the lan server after its untimely death last lan. It should provide a pretty good lan environment and as a bonus I managed to salvage most of the shared files :)
