A few people felt that the lan speeds were not fast enough and requested we got gigabit going on. Unfortunately due to the traffic volumes we have seen on the network we couldn't just buy a cheap and cheerful one, making the cost prohibitive, until now that is. We have just taken delivery of this Dell layer 3 switch 48 10/100/1000 ports and Switch Fabric Capacity up to 184 Gb/s should be fast enough! Submitted by jcooke
